Two of the things I can not seem to make ‘just right’ for my tastes are my ‘post meta’ and ‘comment/trackback/pingback’ areas.
I’ve tweaked and labored and fretted over them for weeks now and I just can’t get them how I want them.
So in the spirit of ‘maybe someone else has something better’ and ‘man, do I need some inspiration’, show us what you’ve got!
I guess a good way to do this would be to link to one of your posts that has lots of feedback, so we can see how you have your stuff laid out and formatted.
Meta: I like the ‘Share It’ plugin (alexking.org), but I can’t help but think that it is being overlooked.
I’d also love to have a textual Digg link, like Feedburner uses (i.e., “Digg it (15)”) to allow visitors to Digg and see the count. But all that seems to be available are image based ones.
🙁
Comments: I hate the comments area. I’d love for it to be segregated into ‘Comments/TrackBacks/Pings’. As it is now, it’s messy and crowded.
🙁

I’ll start, and tell you what I don’t like about it: http://babygotmac.com/a/25

I would really love to have mine formatted like the ones on Marks’ site (http://txfx.net/code/wordpress/wordpress-tuneup/wordpress-203-tuneup/comment-page-1/#comments ). The distinction between the different types as will as the ‘clean’ factor (removing the trackbacks excerpt) is very appealing to me.
