shorten width of slider desc text

Trying to get the description text in the box found within the slider box to shorten width or cause a newline in the description. It runs too far to the east.

Ive tried hitting return in the text to cause a carriage return and using but when I update the media it reverts back to long text.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

And Im sorry, this probably was covered in the past but I couldnt find it.
