Shorten Paypal Return URL

I have a Paypal return url that is too long for browser to handle and brings up a 414. URL below:

I contacted host and they said modifying a setting within Apache to allow for longer urls was not advisable and that I should set something up with WP. Any advice on how this may be achieved would greatly appreciated.
