If possible in need of shortcode to be used on WordPress pages, unless theres a way to put widgets on wp pages.

If you need YTC or any other widget in page/post content, I recommend you install Widget Shortcode plugin (woks well for me on WP 3.5.1).

I agree, please add built in shortcode support.
