Hi,
Sorry for the troubles caused by this issue.
Starting from the version 2.7. the ‘Add Store’ button along with the ‘[ecwid]’ shortcode is available and that should replace the old shortcodes. However, the button of course should work fine. First of all, can you please make sure that you enter a valid store ID in the plugin settings?
Also, please tell us what theme you’re using and which version of WordPress is installed so we can check it ourselves. Thanks.
hoppylorinc,
Did you manage to resolve the issue?
Nope. I tried an other 4.0.1 install, no plugins, default theme, id set, [ecwid] shortcode, still apples.
Button also still has some js problem, I guess.
That is strange. The default store with apples could appear if you put a plain Ecwid integration code on your site with the default store ID, but I don’t think you did so on a fresh install.
Can you please provide URL of your site so we could have a look? Thanks.
Hi,
I am having a similar problem – the Add to Cart button not working. I was using ecwid with the old shortcode method. Then I upgraded the plugin to 4.7 and for some reason I ended up with both the shortcode AND the new Add Store code. Anyway I cleaned out all the code on my store page and re-added the store via the Add Store button. Still nothing. Then I noticed an upgrade to 4.7.1. add to Cart still not working.
Finally I visited my.ecwid and removed the Facebook Like & Share buttons. This has fixed the problem and the Add to cart button is working. However I would like those facebook button back. Any ideas what may be causing the problem?
Interestingly this is only happening on one of my sites that luckily has not gone live yet. I have other stores that are live, have upgraded to 4.7 and add to cart works fine.
Thanks.
hoppylorinc,
Can you please provide a link to your site?
whatachamp,
Thanks for reporting. I believe this is another issue though. Anyway, please post a link to the site where the issue took place. Thank you!
makfruit,

As this is a live site, I do not use the plugin & shortcodes at all now, these are the default html codes, they work just great.
Hi makfruit, can I email you the link? Its not live yet… Please let me know.
I just checked again enabling/disabling the Facebook like & share buttons. Whenever they re enabled add to cart doesn’t work and the share panel also doesn’t expand properly.
Many thanks

We found and resolved the issue. It was caused by a conflict with JS framework used on the site. In the next version, we will roll out an update that will prevent this problem from happening in the future.

This is fixed as well. The problem was caused by a CSS code on the site, which caused a buggy behavior of FB like buttons.
