This is a neat plugin with many options to play with.

However I think it should act like tablepress which stores information in it’s own database and can be retrieved anytime using a shortcode.

The advantage of a shortcode means we can insert the specific product at anywhere in the post, not just at a fixed position. And we can include as many product as we can in one post.

Second advantage i can think of is the sidebar. Using shortcode to insert a short preview of reviews, like stars etc.

    example: http://www.apennyshaved.com/reviews/review-of-tabac-shaving-soap/

    Hi,

Thanks a lot for the feedback and is a great idea. We will take it into consideration and decide how to move forward with it.

Without a shortcode function, now i want to disable the page from showing the product but there’s no option to do that.

I had no choice but to disable the entire plugin, or create a new page, which is not the best solution.

You should be able to disable the plugin on a specific page from the question : Is this post a review ?

There is a dropdown selection on a new post that’s not a review, but the moment i click “yes”, it doesn’t have option to turn off.

You need just to refresh the page without save.

I agree with WJWC. I prefer the fact that tablepress uses shortcodes that can be included anywhere on the cells rather thatn being restricted to a particular portion of the table.

I have used tablepress to produce [Link redacted]> and I’m impressed with the ease of building any type of table.

Can someone suggest other table plugins that are as good as table press? I feel very uncomfortable using the same table style on all of my pages and sites.

You can take a look at my tables [Link redacted]

    Hi @chamacs,

Unfortunately for you, the problem is not related to us and the our plugin.

    Best regards.
