Hello denicocc, thanks for your interest in our plugin and I apologize for the delay in answering. To the topic at hand, at some point we had shortcodes, I am not absolutely sure, but I believe we disabled them as they were very hard to get the icons to display properly in line with the text.
It may be that at some point in the next months we will sort out the style issues and then we’ll resurface the shortcodes, not sure of a timeframe however.

Hi denicocc, we are in the process of reviewing several more fun alternatives for the plugin which we will release progressively over the next several months.
BTW: What kind of custom styling options are you looking for specifically?
The options to upload/using custom CSS and images. I’m able to style the positions, sizes, etc of the share buttons to blend with my template.
