Short posts = no comment?

Ahah chappie good one, I hope you don’t include me in that community 😀
<<ok now you have a great blank area below the comment span with bubble>>
Do you think so? Are you sure you cleared the cache? I think it looks pretty well balanced.
I hope you don’t include me in that community 😀
Definitely not, d4z_c0nf – you are a free spirit and a genius. When I was young, I used to think I was fortunate to be alive when Mohammed Ali was in his prime. Then, later, I felt I was lucky to be alive when Tiger Woods was in his pomp. Two years ago, I felt lucky to be alive when Frankel was winning every turf race with ease. And now I’m lucky to be here when d4z_c0nf is handing out gold nuggets to the poverty-stricken hoi polloi.
If you’re making fun of me.. you made me laugh a lot and I appreciate your humor (you’re english after all), if not you made me laugh a lot and I appreciate your kind words, but I’m not a genius, and I do not know if I want to be, sometimes yes sometimes no.
About the refresh issue, yes I cleared the cache and forced refreshing a lot of times but -> http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2h4zza1&s=8#.U3kGUnWSy00
Nooooooooooooooo! I didn’t check the other browsers as it looked fine in Safari – but Chrome and Firefox break it big-time.
Back to the beginning…I should have known better 🙁
I am definitely not making fun of you. I am a true admirer. I do make fun of myself though…
:/
I really hate browsers autarkyTry this:
.chappie-comments-link.comments-link .fs1 { position:relative; top: -10px; /* change this*/ vertical-align: text-top; } .chappie-comments-link.comments-link .inner { position:relative; top: -10px; /* change this*/ vertical-align: text-top; }adjust values and hope is cross-browser 😀
Yay!!! That does it — and cross-browser! Thank you, d4z_c0nf.
I would never have found that
text-topthing by myself. The Bible says:The top of the element is aligned with the top of the parent element’s font
…but even armed with that knowledge, I still would never have thought to use it.
I apologise for being such a nuisance – and I just hope that you would be bored without us (the unknowledgeables).
No nuisance at all, I’m learning along with you guys 🙂

When posts are very short – like several here – the post index page doesn’t include a link to the post page so there is no obvious way for people to leave a comment. If they click on the blog link in the sidebar, they will find the right page to post a comment – but presumably those sidebar links will scroll out of sight over time.
Am I missing something? TIA.
