Short code issues

I can’t get the shortcode to work the way I want.

I’m trying to get a list with an image on the left, and three lines of text, without html stripped, to the right of the image. This is the code I’m using:

[catlist template=div name=”adult” content=yes
excerpt=yes post_title=no
no_post_titles=yes
thumbnail=yes
]

I wondered if using content=yes and excerpt=yes was my problem, but if I delete content=yes I get nothing.

Where did I go wrong?
