SHOP page – welcome text

    Hello,

    We have installed Woo on our site that runs the Porcelain theme. The shop product pages are looking and working great. However, we would like to be able to create a nice shop landing page with welcoming text, product specials, new arrivals, etc. How can we do that?

    I’m assuming that since we already run the Porcelain theme that we cannot install the Woo Storefront theme or any of the Woo Storefront child themes like Homestore. Is that correct?

    Hi Marc

    I haven’t had any real play time with the pocelain theme but from usage of other themes, the way to get landing pages/a home page is by adding a new page to the site, then adjusting the template setting on the right hand side of the editor. Most themes normally have preset templates for landing pages and other similar pages.

    You can populate your landing page with specials and recent products using shortcodes:

    You can have only one theme at a time.
