Shipping Options not on mobile view

    Howdy, i have set up shipping options and cost which are clearly visible on the desktop view on the store but when customer go to the checkout using a mobile device. The default shipping options are not visible. instead customer see a

      Calculate Shipping

    (text link) which they think nothing of and click the proceed to checkout button which checks out without adding a shipping cost. how does this happen ?
