Please try the following:
– go to the Polylang settings, Language, Settings (usually at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=mlang_settings), Custom post types and Taxonomies, Custom Taxonomies
– if Product shipping classes is selected please unselect it and Save Changes
Shipping class should now work normally.
As Shipping Class is not translatable, when this option is selected the translated shipping class cannot be found so is not copied correctly.
>In this English version I can set the shipping class. When I change the language of this second product into eg. French
Just a note, I definitely don’t recommend this, remember the English product could be linked to English categories, tags, attributes etc.
Instead, in the Languages box, Translations, click the ‘+’ by the French flag.
This should work normally.
If there is some product data that is not synchronising correctly in your situation, you can also turn off the fields locker for that field in Settings, WooPoly, Metas List.

Thank you.
Maybe a comprehensive manual about the use of the plugin should be written.
