• I finally got my WP blogs to be validated and now the other RSS readers are able to pick it up. However I use SharpReader and I am reading that many other WP bloggers have posted that their WP blogs are not subscribable by SharpReader.
I am wondering what needs to be done so that SharpReader can consider a code change to start picking up WP blogs? I’ve already written to Luke and I hope others do to so maybe he’ll get the message.
BTW, I really like WP and do not wish to change to another blog service.

  • I use Sharpreader with my WP v1.2.1 and have no problems. What version of Sharpreader are you trying this with?

0.9.5.1 version – the latest version, I believe.

I’m not even a wordpress user — I’m a regular weblog reader, and I use SharpReader as my aggregator. Noticed today that as of 9/27/04, two of the WordPress-based feeds I read stopped working and haven’t worked since.

Running Win2k, and SharpReader 0.9.5.1, which has been the newest version for quite some time. Those investigating this issue should look around the end of September for any changes that were made to the software — out of the 100’s of feeds to which I subscribe, only these two have “gone dead” to SharpReader while still functioning as pages.

The only WP read I have had probs w/ in SharpReader was BinaryBonsai… for about 2 days, it went out, then came back, then went out for 10 minutes, but since, not a problem.
Could it be a content problem?
