Sharing on Facebook problem

On the Yoast SEO plugin, I have been looking at the social tab and trying to get it to work but I am having no luck.
I have filled in the Facebook information underneath the social tab, on a post page. But it has not yet been published on the Facebook page. Can it take a while to be published or is there something in the yoast plugin settings I need to change?
I have also look at the debugging option on Facebook but this has not worked. Is this because I trying a business page instead of personal profile?
I really need help with this so if someone could get back to me asap, that will be great! Thank you.
