• I’m creating two sites using different domain names and I want to share images, themes and include files between them, but want different headers and main nav menus for each. What’s the best way to set this up?

    Keep in mind these are things that are not meant to be shared: images and files.

    Themes is built in by default. Nothing to do, just install the theme and network activate it.

    Could I create a sub-folder for the second site and make a separate navigation menu and header for it?

    Sites are separate, content wise. Even if they all used the same theme, you can configure the settings persite.

    What you share is the following:

    * potential user base
    * potential plugins
    * potential themes
    * source code of WP, themes, and plugins

    Everything else? Per site.
