Very scary to hear. I’m wondering if the plugin is abandoned.
What do you see when you log into sharedcount.com under “Recent Daily Usage”? Have you exceeded your quota? Are there no queries, indicating your site is not connecting to Shared Counts?
What settings do you have selected in your WordPress site under Settings > Shared Counts?
Can you share a link to a page on your site that has Shared Counts enabled but no share counts appearing?

Hmm, that’s strange. I was expecting to either see “Show Total Counts Only” checked, or no queries on SharedCount.com.
