Shared Hosting Questions
-
Hello.
I would like to ask a technical question about Shared Hosting and limitations.
ALL shared hosting plans have limitations, some companies publish them, some hide them from their customers.
One major limitation is “entry processes”. For example i have a limit of 20.
My question: “traditional” page caching plugins create a static html page and display that in each request. And HTML pages do NOT count as entry processes in php. So there is a great benefit also from that. No limitations (almost).
I don’t know how Litespeed cache works. What happens everytime a page (cached) is requested ? Is an entry process initiated ?
Also is there any php involved ? Since if you use a caching plugin in mod_rewrite mode (and not php), there is no php involved ?
All in all, what happens when a cached page is called ?
Thanks
