Shareaholic plugin conflict with Lightbox Evolution

    I am having a conflict when adding Shareaholic to my website. It is breaking my lightbox evolution plugin. When playing a vimeo video through the lightbox, it will stop launching the lightbox and takes me to vimeo’s website. When I deactivate Shareaholic, it goes back to working normal and launching the lightbox and playing the video correctly.

    I am running Shareaholic 7.6.1.2 and Lightbox Evolution 1.8.0

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the info! Do you have this enabled on your site for me to take a look at? I can try to reproduce the issue to get a better understanding on how our plugin is conflicting with your Lightbox.

    Hello Mary Anne –

    You can go to http://shweebo.staging.wpengine.com then click on the top and bottom Play Video to reproduce. This has shareaholic plugin activated. If you go to http://shweebo.com the plugin is deactivated.

    Please let me know your thoughts.

    Hi @jleifb,

    Thanks for the helpful link example! I was able to see that the video won’t play with the plugin enabled. When you click on the div (‘.play-video’), it replaces the link with an iframe that embeds the video. Do you mind trying to add the class .play-video to the anchor instead? This may fix the issue. Try that first and let me know what you get!
