Have you tried looking up Share Counts using this tool?

Does this tool show counts and the buttons don’t?
Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, all shares appear normally in the sharecounter tool for any given url from my domain.
Just to point out that I am testing the free version, so it’s not clear from the documentation if old shares would be displayed. However even with new articles posted after installation of the buttons no total share count appears (or individual share icon badges if I activate that option). Or does the free version not support display of share counts at all?
@julius-e
Shareaholic pulls lifetime counts directly from the social networks for the most accurate counts. So it doesn’t matter if you were using another plugin before – if there were legitimate shares on the services we support counts for, they will show.
Have you enabled the Share Count Proxy in Shareaholic -> Plugin Settings? This is required for Facebook counts. And it’s free.

I’m assuming most of your shares are on Facebook? If so, using the paid service that we host in the cloud has many advantages – the biggest of which are much higher Facebook API limits and whitelisting:

Counts on your buttons will match what you see on the Share Count Tally lookup tool with the paid version of the service as they use the same infrastructure.
Hi @julius-e were you able to figure it out?
Hi, yes, worked like a charm. Facebook counts are back, thanks very much for your help!
