I’ve installed the plugin on the live site (previous questions about the staging site were answered and fixed).

When I changed the settings it says saved, but then I go back to the settings everything has gone back to the default.

On the payment section, I turn on Woocommerce but it won’t save as it says “Confirm Ticket Based on Payment Status” is required – but there’s nothing in the drop-down to the select (it says “no data”).

When creating an event the location is kind of “loading” so I can’t edit anything and it won’t allow saving without the location – even though I turned off location in the settings.

I have the latest version of WordPress and the Eventin plugin installed.

    Hi @artisanweb,
I am really sorry to hear that you’re running into these issues on your live site!

What you are describing, settings reverting to default, drop-down options showing “no data”, and location fields stuck loading, typically happens due to a caching issue on the site. If a caching plugin or server-level cache is aggressively caching JavaScript files, it can block the settings scripts and API calls from executing or updating properly in the WordPress admin.

While we can’t be 100% sure without taking a closer look at your environment, 2 customers who ran into this exact behavior resolved it by excluding the necessary JavaScript files/URLs from their caching plugin. Or you can check it by deactivating all kind of cache plugin or cache system for checking.

Every caching plugin (like WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, SiteGround Optimizer, etc.) includes an option to exclude specific scripts or URLs from being cached.

We have prepared a quick video tutorial showing step-by-step how to exclude script files in your caching plugin to prevent this issue: Video

Could you please try clearing your site and server cache, and adding the script exclusion as shown in the video?

If the issue persists after doing this, please let us know which caching plugin or server setup you are using, and we’ll be glad to help you investigate further!

    Best regards,

    M Mahbub
