I updated today from version 2 to 3.0.1.

However none of the settings pages are functioning. The following error is returned:

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/thirstyaffiliates/Models/Settings.php on line 732

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @dxd7,

    Thanks for the message.

Can you please let me know what PHP version you are on? Is it pre-5.4?

We can’t seem to replicate the issue.

Also, where is this error occuring? When you just visit the settings area? Or are you doing something specific?

Would be great if you can also try deactivating/reactivating the plugin.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the reply.

The problem occurs just by visiting any of the settings tabs in the settings area.

Page layout retains the wordpress admin area, displays the “ThirstyAffiliates Settings” title and the tab bar (General | Link Appearance | Modules | Import/Export | Help). Below that is displayed the sub-title and description for the tab selected (e.g. “General” and “Settings that change the general behaviour of ThirstyAffiliates.”). Below that is the error message stated above, and the error message is the same for each tab.

    Looks like you were right.

I was on PHP version 5.3. Bumping it up to 5.6 solved the problem.

Thanks for pointing me in the correct direction.

    Hi @dxd7,

Awesome, sounds like you have it solved!

Thanks for letting me know 🙂
