Hello Aswin, thanks – but there is the possibility via the settings / e-mail. How can I insert my own texts there so that they are not reset?

Does it reset when you update the UM plugin? Or Is it when you add a custom text and then save the email settings?
I think it has to do with updates of the plugin.

Could you please confirm that you’re updating the Email content in the WP Admin > UM > Email settings? And not in the /wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/templates/email/ ? If you update the email content in the template files, they will be overriden every time you update the UM plugin.
Yes, I updating the E-Mail content in the WP Backend in the UM plugin E-Mail settings.
I’m not sure if the problem is the update or something else. Last time I customized the mail texts, I’ve checked after save and go back in the editor of the mails and the customization was still there (so they was definitely saved). A few days later the customization was reset to the default texts – so I guess an update triggered the reset (was there an update in the last 14 days?).

Create a child-theme.
Without a child-theme an update of your theme may remove your modified email templates.
