    Hi everyone,

I am running into an issue getting the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin working on a WordPress blog installation, and I could use some help troubleshooting.

    My Setup:

    • Main site: bizeemtraffic.com (running reCAPTCHA successfully)
    • Blog installation: bizeemtraffic.com/blog (WordPress subfolder setup)
    • Plugin: Advanced Google reCAPTCHA
    • Active caching/optimization plugins: LiteSpeed Cache, Asset CleanUp

The Problem: Whenever I attempt to verify the captcha or load the form, I get this exact error message:

“An error occurred loading the captcha, please check your Captcha Site Key”

What I have tried so far:

    1. Created a brand-new, dedicated key pair specifically for this setup in the Google reCAPTCHA admin console.
    2. Verified that the Site Key and Secret Key are pasted correctly without any extra spaces and are not swapped.
    3. Ensured the version setting in the plugin matches the key type generated in Google.
    4. Temporarily disabled LiteSpeed Cache and tested in an incognito window to rule out script deferral or browser extension blockers.
    5. Checked that my WordPress URL settings use proper https:// formatting.

Despite all of this, it is still throwing the loading error. Is there a specific quirk with running reCAPTCHA on a WordPress subfolder (/blog), or is there a conflict with script loading that I am missing?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Please open the reCAPTCHA configuration for the new v3 key in Google and check that bizeemtraffic.com is listed under the allowed Domains. You only need to add the domain itself, not https:// or /blog.

The /blog subfolder shouldn’t require any special configuration, as reCAPTCHA domain restrictions apply to the hostname rather than the URL path.

Also please double-check that the key is specifically a v3 / score-based key rather than a v2/checkbox key
