Is it possible to set the default value of a toggle switch (having values 1-4) automatically based on the selected value of a dropdown select.

    steps to follow:
    – a single form loads containing a dropdown select and a toggle switch
    – the user selects an item in the dropdown select
    – based on the user’s selections, the toggle switch changes to the appropriate value

ideally, the toggle switch cannot be set by the user

    thx,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms, that means a lot to us.

This is not currently a feature of Caldera Forms in the way that you described. A dropdown can’t manipulate the toggle switch exactly. With that said, I’ve seen many Caldera Forms users create the “illusion” of this functionality with a dropdown select field that hides and shows otherwise hidden fields with the correct display. See: https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/conditional-logic-with-caldera-forms/

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved, but please don’t hesitate to reopen it if you have additional questions.
