I’m using oceanwp. I created a new page to contain my posts, called “Blog”. I can edit this with elementor OK and the yoast plugin gives some feedback OK (not much because its an empty page at this stage). But, when I go to Settings->Reading->Post Page and set “Blog” as the posts page and save settings, when I return to the page I selected for posts it says that the yoast feedback such as readability is “not available” and when I try to edit the page in elementor I get an error message saying that elementor cannot load. If I go back and unselect “blog” as the Posts page then everything works fine again. Why is this?

I heard from the elementor forum that the blog page cannot be directly customized with the basic version of Elementor, the option to edit archive templates is available only in our Pro version. I am guessing that the same goes for Yoast. I don’t think this is a problem because I can still get SEO information about individual posts with yoast.
