Hi There,
You need cross-domain tracking when your Google Analytics session spans across two or more domains and you want to track the sessions across different domains as a single session. (This doesn’t apply to subdomains, only different domains. subdomains are considered the same domain.)
The UA code needs to be identical on both sites.
The default URL is identified in the Google Analytics Settings, so it will be whatever is set in those settings.
Thanks,

Hi Jay,
So if i use the domainA.com as main domain, in the plugin settings, i should put domainA or domainB?
http://prntscr.com/n1l630?
Thank you
The cross-domain tracking shouldn’t include itself, only the other domain.
i.e. domainA.com should have domainB.com, while domainB.com should have domainA.com
So this only works if i have this plugin installed on both domains?
Doesnt work if i have another tracking plugn on main site, and on siteB this plugin with the crossdomain option active?
It depends if you need cross domain tracking on both sites. If not, then no. Our plugin isn’t required to implement cross-domain tracking, it just makes it easier to set up.
Does that answer your question?
Cheers,
-Jay
