Set length of slideshow?

    I’m an artist and I am using the default slideshow in WordPress but have the Parabola theme invoked. I have done a series of comic strips but the length of time the slideshow switches from slide to slide is too fast for someone to read the comic strip. Is there a way to slow down the rate that the slides progress? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    For reference here’s the page I’m talking about.

    In the Parabola Settings > Presentation Page > Slider Settings, you can change both the length of time each slide is visible and motionless, and the speed of whichever animated transition you’ve selected.

    edit: Sorry, that’s using the slider built-in to the Parabola theme.

    Hmmm I’m not sure which I’m using but I think it’s the default in WordPress. That’s only for the presentation page itself right?
    Not even sure what that does!

    Yes, sorry – as far as I know, the slider built into the theme can only appear on the Presentation page.
