Set Default Shipping Method

    With the changes in WooCommerce, the Shipping options have changed which is causing multiple issues with everyone. We can no longer select a default shipping method. We use Stamps.com – USPS and want it to be our default shipping method with Local Pick Up as an option. In this release of WooCommerce, it does not allow for 3rd party shipping plugins to be selected, only one of the pre-programmed options (unless I am missing something.)

    I have searched for answers and cannot find anything. Any help is appreciated.

    The USPS / Stamps.com extensions from Woo should be updated soon to allow for using in shipping zones. Until then, it’ll be a case of using USPS / Stamps in addition to the methods set up under zones.

    As for 3rd party shipping plugins, I wouldn’t be able to comment on that – a great deal depends on how those plugins are coded and whether they work with shipping zones or not. Best to check with the developers 🙂
