Session data not entirely cleared after logout

Hi, I’m using Woocommerce along with WholeSaleSuite plugin to serve both consumers and wholesale. The Wholesalesuit allows me to set a different TAX value for wholesale users. The TAX value for European wholesale users is set to 0% and for consumers to 21%. Now when the Wholesale user log’s out the 0% tax value is not being reset to 0. I contacted the plugin developer (see attached mail) and they said it’s a woocommerce issue 🙁

So would it be possible to force some kind of reset when this wholesale user logs out so that the tax value is restored to 21%. Any thoughts or help would be very much appreciated.

I’m afraid this is a WooCommerce issue, they don’t properly clear the session after logout. Our developer will dig deeper on this matter. But you may want to contact WooCommerce support too. I’m sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi, I’m using your complete suite for our customers web-shop that’s serving 3 different client groups.
1 – Consumers (don’t have to login to order) – 21% Tax
2 – Wholesale customers from the Netherlands (need to login) – 21% Tax
3 – Wholesale customers EU except Netherlands (need to login) – no Tax

Your suite offers great options to accomplish this. I defined two Wholsale roles, Wholesale Dutch and Wholesale EU. On the Tax tab (Wholesale Prices) I added two mappings.
Wholesale NL -> No tax exempted and Wholesale EU -> Tax exempted.
For both Wholesale roles I have the prices in the shops shown without tax and prices during cart and checkout also excluding tax (For consumer both are set in Woocommerce to Including Tax). Everything’s fine so far 😉

Now when I login as Wholesale EU (tax exempted). Once again everything is looking fine Productprices are all without tax and during cart and checkout the Tax is set to zero. Great.

Now, when I logout as Wholesale EU and enter the shop as ‘regular consumer’ again all my productprices are now showing WITHOUT tax! Also during Cart and checkout, NO tax is added? So it looks as if the WholeSale EU settings are not ‘reset’ after logout. You can check this behaviour on jannekenieuw.windkracht20.nl (sorry the site is only in Dutch). The menu option ‘inloggen’ is the login for Wholesale.
To login as Wholesale EU -> user: wholesaleeu / ww: wholesaleeu
