I was wondering if there is a way to seperate the drafts of users into multiple columns or jsut seperate headings, under the manage tab.

We have multiple writers and want to be able to easily see who is working on which story.

Also, any recomendations for a notes tab where you can store info that yo will never want to post (lie FTP login info) as well as stories you may want to refer to later.

I am not trying to be annoying, I jsut can’t imagine that if you have a network of 100 writers all posts blend together in “Other’s Drafts” anyone have a solution?

For the second question, have a look at http://www.chrisjdavis.org/wordpress/cjd-notepad/

I’m afraid I’ve not seen any way (or plugins) that would seperate drafts… I’ve seen it asked here before though so might try digging around with the Search. (make sure you change the search option to look at forums).

anyone find a solution to this recently? Or how do otehr manage their blogs with many many writers?

We have solved the problem and created a good solution but do not know how to, or have the time to turn it into a plugin for others to install as well. If a moderator is interested in this we would be more than happy to provide a screen shot as well as the code for a plugin to be create or for the code to be built into the next version of WP (i think it is needed and a great feature).

Not many moderators are coders 🙁
However, you may want join the hackers mailing list

where most of the developers and coders exchange ideas.
