Seperate Search box from table

Good morning. We are building a medical supply site and want to have a master list of products, with all the model numbers listed. We want to have a search box (table press search box) that lives under each product so customers can look up corresponding product numbers in the table.

Now here is my question. Is it possible to have only the search box, and when someone types in it, it looks in the table and display the result. So basically we want the table hidden until someone actually types in the search box.

Is this possible? Thanks.
