Seperate pages for comments

In 1.2 I had a seperate page for my comments, as does mezzoblue. It was loaded through the .htaccess file as 2005/04/entry/comments/ which redirected the user to /wordpress/comments.php with a query string (much like it is done with the index.php)

However, since I upgraded to 1.5 things got a little tricky and I’m not sure if the setup described above can still be implemented.
