Seperate footer from content

I have this almost completely ready to go. It basically matches my forum and image gallery. The problem that I have is that the footer is stuck to the content section.

I need it to be separate like the header is. Not only so that the border around the content section doesn’t wrap around, but also so that I can control the background and borders separately from the #container.
