    Dear,

    I’ve successfully installed and configured the Post SMPT Mailer. I use a Gmail account and SMTP (smtp.gmail.com on port 587) with STARTTLS to send emails. This works fine with both plain authentication and OAuth.

    All messages that have been sent are also stored in the Gmail account, which is good. Unfortunately these messages are stored in the inbox, instead of the sent items. Can this configured somewhere in the plugin or Gmail? Or would this require an update of the plugin?

    This is a Gmail related issue. When a message is filtered in Gmail and is marked as ‘Never send to spam’, an Inbox tag is applied to the message matching the filter.

    As the filter also applies to sent messages, these will appear in the inbox.

    To solve this issue, delete or modify the filter in Gmail.
