I have one our our users who when they are editing products in WooCommerce is constantly getting blocked by WordFence.

This is the blocked message in the logs:
“blocked by firewall for Yoast WordPress SEO <= 3.1.2 – Sensitive Data Exposure”

None of our other users get this – only this one person when they work from their home.

I can’t seem to find this error when I do any searches. Can someone help identify why she might be getting this error and how I correct?
    Thanks!

  • Hi @nsehnert

When this happens again, could you please check the “Live Traffic” log for more details regarding this block? you can share a screenshot to my email address (alaa “at” wordfence “dot” com). Filtering the Live Traffic log by “Blocked By Firewall” might help in getting this entry faster.

    Thanks.

    Hi @nsehnert

I’ve checked the screenshot you sent and I suggest the following:

    – Let this user try using another browser and recheck this issue.
    – Double check with him to make sure he is doing the same steps just as other users.
    – If none of these helped and you have the latest version of WordPress SEO by Yoast installed on your website, then you can safely turn off “Yoast WordPress SEO <= 3.1.2 – Sensitive Data Exposure” rule under (Wordfence > Firewall > Firewall Options > Advanced Firewall Options > Rules).

    Thanks.
