Hi, SendPress has suddenly stopped showing subscribers. I can still enter them and can see that they’re going in because the numbers go up, but when I click on the View/Edit button, my screen is blank. Everything was working until I hit 3,000 subs (I’ve got 10,500 in all – putting them in at 1,000 a day as I’m moving my list over). Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks.

That is definitely strange. I’m not aware of anyone else experiencing that issue. In Fact we know people using over 30,000 subscribers with no problems. Can we start by having you provide the information requested here?

It is also possible that there is a plug-in or theme conflict that may not have anything to do with the number of subscribers. Could you take a look at this KB article and follow the instructions to see if we can isolate a particular plug-in or theme that could be interfering.

Lastly, for good measure I would recommend that you run through this article on making sure you’re permalinks are okay.

Thanks Doug. I’ll go and check the plug-ins now.

Only have two plug-ins and one is yours. Deactivating the other didn’t make any difference. Nor did changing to basic theme, or changing permalinks to something other than the default. I also tried ticking “disable front end CSS” and “disable signup form from Ajax” and the “use old permalink” but nothing worked. The subscriber list is still blank. Everything else seems to be working and subscribers are definitely being added, but the screen shows nothing. Thanks for the fast response!

    Hi Maggieball,

Not sure if you have access to the error logs or not but it looks like you could be running out of Memory for php. Based on these two values.

    PHP Memory Limit: 32 MByte
    PHP Memory Used: 30.12 MByte

Your hosting company should be able to up this for you. I can do some further testing but i have a feeling you hit the memory limit if it is already that close to the max. If you have have it adjust to 64M you should be fine.

Thanks Josh, I’ve asked my host (don’t seem to be able to manage PHP memory myself in Plesk). I’ll keep you posted.

That worked Josh! SendPress looks great (just switched over from Dadamail which was pretty cumbersome to keep updated). If all goes well with 2-3 mailings, I’ll upgrade to premium. Can you please do me one more favour and just remove the debug info post above – just so it’s not sitting online with all my info. The rest of the info here will probably be of use to someone else who might have a similar problem in the future. Thanks so much for all your help – it was very much appreciated.

    Hi Maggieball,

I will see if i can get the moderators to remove the info. I don’t have the ability to edit post.

    Best,
    Josh
