• Hi,

I have multiple lists (i.e. Business, Personal, Work Friends). There is some overlap between subscribers on the lists (i.e. “Mark Smith” is on the Business AND Work Friends lists).

I have already sent a newsletter to the Business and Personal list. I want to send the identical newsletter to the Work Friends list but ONLY to the people who have not already received it (so Mark Smith would not receive a duplicate email).

Is this possible? How do I do this? Does MailPoet do this automatically?

  • MailPoet won’t send the same newsletter twice if the subscribers are on 2 lists. However, in order to do that, you’ll need to send just one newsletter to these 2 lists together. If you send one newsletter to list X and Y and then send a third newsletter to list Z, this subscriber will receive 2 newsletters in his inbox. Is that clear?
