• Hello,

mails with contact form 7 and WP Mail SMTP only are sent, when I’m logged in the backend of wordpress (as admin). Without logging in, after clicking on “Send”, the circle is rotating endless and no mails are sent.

Has anyone an idea what’s going wrong there?

    Thanks
    Martin

    Hi,

What are the settings of WP Mail SMTP plugin?

    Hello Slava,

    sorry for the delay.

Settings are the same we use for another domain, which works well.

Here are the details of the settings:

    From: a valid mail-address
    Force from E-Mail: not checked
    Mailer: other SMTP
    Return Path: not checked
SMTP Host: (internal IP-Address of the Server (10.x.x.x)
    Encryption: none
    SMTP Port: 25
    Auto TLS: off
    Authentification: off

Sending a testmail from the WP backend was successful.

But a mail by filling in the web form (contact form 7) is only sent,
when the user has loggend in into the WP backend and keeps a valid session.

Otherwise the circle (clock) rotates endless without sending a mail.

    Thanks & regards
    Martin
