The Plugin doesn’t work explicitly on a post-by-post basis.
However, I believe that the post authors should already get email notifications for comments for their own posts. So, you can use the Plugin to add yourself, or an admin, or whomever, to also get notification emails.

Hi this plugin looks like what I need but wanted to check something. Is it possible to decide on a post by post basis which users get email notification. As I am posting articles by other authors what I am looking to do is send them notifications as well when they get a comment on the post.
