• Hello SendGrid,

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a check box to the default WordPress user registration page. This could potentially subscribe the user to the email list specified in the SendGrid Widget area. While starting a new site, it would be much easier for new members to be presented this option upon registration instead of clicking on a separate page where the widget is located.

In addition, is there anyway to embed the widget in a custom way? Forgive me for not understanding the functionality behind the widget but it can be cumbersome to embed a widget into a page or post. It would nice to have an html feature with a responsive email field and submit box, similar to many forms we see in the WordPress ecosystem. I’m not sure how that would work.

Lastly, I have not found a plugin such as Optin Monster (or similar popup newsletter subscription plugins) that supports sendgrid. If you have already created the widget, would it be difficult to embed said widget into a popup?

I understand that most of this requires developer skill on my end but I was hoping to get some answers other than a link to your API.

I really appreciate the hard work you have put into this plugin thus far and look forward to more!

    Hi @rustyguts,

    1. We will do a research to see if this is possible and we’ll let you know

    2. Sure thing, this sound like something we must do. We will add this feature in one of the next releases.

    3. At the moment, unfortunately, we don’t take this into consideration. Please use SendGrid to send Marketing Campaigns.

    Thanks,
    SendGrid
