What sendgrid does not work at all

    Hello,

Since a few weeks, Sendgrid doesn’t work for me too.
I use Mailpoet 2.7 on 3 websites with 3 Sendgrid accounts (free plan), and these 3 websites can’t send any newsletter with this config. (Before it was OK)

How can we solve this issue ? Do we need to subscribe to a Sengrid monthly plan ?

    Thanks

Have you guys checked into your SendGrid Dashboard to see the status of your plan?

Yes, i use a free12k plan for each the 3 websites and they are active on all of them (no error message or anything…).

    I’ve done a test :
    – When i use each of these 3 sendgrid accounts in another new website hosted on an OTHER server (Php 5.3), they are all working fine and the newsletters can be send.

    – When i use each of these 3 sendgrid accounts in another new website hosted on the SAME server (Php 5.5), they are not working.

So, my problem doesn’t come from (directly) from sendgrid.
I suspect the problem could come from the Php version of the server… am I wrong ?
What can i do now ?

    Thanks for your help

@gord Borg, did you find a solution ?

No not completely, It’s all weird. My e-mail newsletter is going out 3 times to some people and not at all to others.
I am getting hundreds of returned e-mails that can not be delivered?
Out of over 1000 newsletters going out only one or two of my subscribers are opening the e-mail. this seem very strange considering my subscribers need to confirm by return e-mail their subscription.

Bottom line things are not aas they should be.

I found a solution to my problem.
The problem comes from my host, i think.
I changed the smtp configuration in Mailpoet menu, like this :
    – i’ve unchecked the box “web API”
    – SMTP port = 465
    – secure connection = SSL

With this config, Mailpoet works well on the 3 websites i was talking about…
You can test this @gord Borg !
