Hi @ebrois,
Thanks for your message.
Unfortunately, as the error suggests, this isn’t possible due to a limitation in WordPress. Specifically, you cannot set email headers that would permit CC / BCC for certain transactional emails that may contain sensitive information using the available filters within WordPress.
Until this changes within WordPress, there isn’t a lot more I can do. The current system also allows for best compatibility with other WordPress plugins.
Hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
Jack

Thanks Jack,
I understand, but in fact I do not need to send sensitive data or transactionnals data, only a welcome message that is the same for everyone.
Every time a new client is registering to WP (using S2member) I just want to send a welcome message to him only and with cc or bcc, the same for all users not depending on there group or level and with no sensitive data.
Is it possible with BNFW ? In BNFW, in”New user registration – For admin” is it possible to send a welcome email with bcc to this user only and not to the group ?
If not, do you know another plugin that can do the job ?
Thanks for your time
Etienne
Hi @ebrois,
Thanks for clarifying.
I appreciate that you don’t need to send any confidential or sensitive information however, as WordPress normally provides some of this in these emails they don’t provide anything more that I can use to expand upon this and allow CC or BCC to be used. If anything, this works perfectly fine within WordPress but because BNFW allows you to do some customisation of these emails, it has ‘created’ this issue. BNFW has actually made a number of core improvements to emails over the years and I think this is either already on the roadmap or a patch has been submitted to see if this will be possible in the future.
Unfortunately, for now, there isn’t much more I can do unless WordPress provide the necessary filters to interact with these notifications.
I’m not aware of another plugin that allows this however.
I hope you find something though!
Thanks,
Jack
