How to sell very customizable items

Hi,

I’m wanting to sell custom sized/tailor shirts on my website. The user will need to choose from selected colours, collar, and button options, as well as input their measurements.

I don’t know the best way to do this.

Here’s my idea- when someone selects an item, and clicks on the shirt, it directs them a compulsory form page before pay/checkout that has photos of thee optional fabrics/colours and variations etc, then the measurements form (pre-defined drop down menu’s).

I would also need it to store their measurements with their account details.

I’ve very open to other ideas

What is the best way to do this? So far I’ve only got WooCommerce 2.1.1 isntalled
