• Hello, we have a blog, freewarebible.wordpress.com, and it seems to drive a good amount of traffic to our site. However, we wanted to integrate wordpress.org directly into our website and style it to match the navigation on the rest of the site.

I downloaded wordpress.org and set it up on our site, but it doesn’t seem to be showing up in wordpress.com searches. This leads me to believe we are better off with wordpress.com because it is helping new visitors find our site everyday.

My question is Does wordpress.com have something similar to THE LOOP on wordpress.org. If so, how would I go about implementing that on my website?

Additionally, is there something similar to the loop, but I can separate it by category? http://www.freewarebible.com/images/god_flowchart.jpg shows what I am talking about. The 6 images around the God Is… Hexagon will be every post split into 6 categories. When you click these 6 categories, they will show only those categories in the loop. Then, if the user clicks to view more of the post, it will bring the user back to freewarebible.wordpress.com.

If wordpress offers these options, it seems like a win-win situation. wordpress.org doesn’t seem like the solution for us because we are using wordpress.com to drive new traffic to our site.

WordPress.com search only searches wordpress.com blogs, not other websites. I’m surprised that you could get a lot of traffic from wordpress.com searches. I get most of my traffic from Google searches, links from other blogs or social networking sites, and subscribed users using a variety of feed readers.
