Selection glitch

I believe this is a plugin glitch and not affecting just this website. I noticed it several weeks ago but have no idea when it might have first been introduced.

When editing a file and trying to select/copy or cut/ paste text there is now a jump in the selection resulting in, at last attempt, 17 lines. As an example, this means that if you select and try to cut out lines of text beginning at line 180, when the cut is made it will include text up beginning at line 163. Anyone not paying close attention will assume they only cut what was originally selected, biting them when going on to whatever comes next.

I’ve been working around this by selecting everything, doing my editing in a separate text editor, then replacing everything. This is because pasting is also subject to a line jump. Clearly this workaround is a nuisance.

I hope you fix this soon before it causes (or prevents further) serious grief. Up until now it has been a very useful and reliable plugin.
