• As a designer used to actually selecting the area I’m working on, as in say Illustrator, I find it tedious to actually be able to select a block. I spend way too much time moving the cursor around until the entire block or element I want to work on gets selected. What am I missing about selecting blocks?

It’s a pain for sure. Here’s a little help: in the top bar, above the title, there’s an icon that is three little horizontal lines, offset from each other, like stairs. Click those and you’ll get a hierarchical list of the blocks. You can easily select any block or any internal component.

ADDITIONALLY, look at the Block Navigation plugin. It puts something similar in the top right, but you can ALSO drag and drop blocks and elements inside the list. Excellent for ordering things properly.

Will try your suggestions, thanks! Hopefully blocks will evolve where one can easily select and work on them.
