Select Taxonomy for Filtering dropdown only show “Error”

The settings page under Filter Settings, the Select Taxonomy for Filtering dropdown only shows “Error” in the selection. I had deleted and reinstalled the plug-in, but still the same. It was working few years ago when I installed the first time, and the page is showing properly. Now the page is still displaying properly, but the dropdown only has “Error”

Yes, the new version 1.8.7 fixed it. It’s working now. Thank you! However, I don’t see a save button for the settings. After I checkbox the category, got out the setting page, and came back, the check mark was gone.
