The cheating uhh message is not from Frontier Post
Do you have the same issue, if you use the author profile ?

no, if I am logged in as admin I do not receive such message. As admin I can insert featured image..
how can I fix this to let subscriber to upload featured image? why is it possible to insert media into the post but it is not possible to set featured image while being a subscriber?
thanks in advance

You mean all my plugins that I use? They r too many to list, do you have any in mind that could create a conflict?

Hi,
If you do a google search for: wordpress “cheating uh?”
You get quite a lot of matches relating to plugins and themes, and it has to do with access rights.
Have you tried to test with Author role instead of Contributor (Contributor does not have the capability: Upload Files) ?
What happens if you attach a featured image from the back-end with the same role you are testing from the frontend ?

hi,
I do not have Contributor role at all, I have administrator and subscribe, and both of them have capability to upload files

Have you tried to enable Frontier author role and use that one.
Can be done in settings for Frontier Post ?
An d what about this question:
What happens if you attach a featured image from the back-end with the same role you are testing from the frontend ?

Yes, I have tried the author role, not working..
If I try to attach s feature image from the back-end as a subscriber it just does not show up on website. It seams it is attaching but at the end nothing

If it works as admin, but not for author (or subscriber) in backend as well, I suspect this is due to access rights of some sort.
But as you have a similar problem from the back end, I dont believe the problem is related to Frontier Post.
Only way to test is to disable all other plugins, and activate them one-by-one to see what is causing this
