Not the easy way I wanted to enter geotags. I will keep trying though as the project is worthwhile.

    Hello timmills,

at which stage of setting geotags to your post/page did you face difficulties or feel it’s complicate?
Some more information will help to improve OSM.

    Thx & br, Photoweblog

I think a lot of this is my inexperience. I posted a comment to get rid of the large red letters on the plugins page but I am grateful that you have followed it up.

I want to have latitude and longitude (i.e. 34.83913, -87.933174) entered in the text of posts gathered together to display on a map.

When using OSM all I get is a map which I have to click on a point to get the tag.

It would be nice to have a list of posts with the geotags but this is not important. I am using WordPress to create a trip in the US and I have sourced the latitude and longitude from the web. Also is it possible to import a list of latitude and longitude to display on a map?

    Hi timmills,

    with OSM you can:

1.) add geotags as attribute (not content!) to your post – not seen by your visitors
2.) add one or more maps to your post as content – seen by your visitors

    add 1.)
This has to bee done by custom fields

    add 2.)
You can add maps with markers, they can be:
    * imported by list of latitude and longitude in a file (eg. KML or simply a text file)
    * generated automatically by the OSM plugin by geotagged posts

Here is the place to rate the plugin, your work could be helpful for others, too. So I suggest to explain it with an example here:
