See Warning when in Customizer

When I’m in the Customizer, I get this Warning at the top of my site in a grey bar:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/ntxtalk3/public_html/wp-content/themes/make/inc/customizer/sections/static-front-page.php on line 22

Thankfully, I do not see this warning on the live site. But it is distracting when I’m working on the site. Is there any way of removing this?

Can you begin by deactivating all your plugins to see if there’s a conflict?

I have deactivated all my plug-ins, and I’m still getting the error message.

Is this a new site? Do you have any pages created/published?

It is a new site, and there are pages published – ntxtalk.com.

Hmm, ok. Do you have a section in the “General” panel of the Customizer called “Static Front Page”? Or anywhere else in the Customizer?

There is no “Static Front Page” in the General panel or in any part of the Customizer.

Hmm. That should be there if you have any pages published. I do see lots of posts published on your site, but not pages. Is it possible that you’re getting the two confused?

Regardless, having an error message appear when you don’t have the “Static Front Page” section is a bug. We have a fix for it that will be included in the next version of the theme.

I’ve added an “About Us” page to the site, and that seems to have taken care of the error message. Thanks for your help.
